Terms & privacy

Plain-language terms for the BayProof pilot, subscription and handling of shop data.

Service terms

BayProof analyzes shop-provided repair-order exports and produces reviewable indicators and action lists. Findings are estimates, not guarantees of collectible revenue. The shop remains responsible for verifying every repair order, authorization, invoice, tax, warranty, accounting entry and customer communication before taking action.

Free pilot

The pilot lasts 14 days. No payment card is required and the shop is not charged automatically when the pilot ends. When the pilot expires, paid features remain unavailable unless the shop chooses to activate a subscription.

Paid subscription

The standard BayProof plan is $749 per month with no setup fee. The first 10 qualifying founding shops may activate at $499 per month and retain that rate while their subscription remains continuously active. Activating a plan authorizes recurring monthly charges until canceled. Cancellation stops future renewals; charges already paid are not automatically refundable. The price and terms displayed at Stripe checkout control the payment transaction.

Acceptable use

Do not upload data you are not authorized to process, attempt to access another shop’s workspace, disrupt the service, reverse engineer security controls or use findings to create false or misleading charges.

Shop data

BayProof stores account settings, detected exceptions, audit history and information submitted through forms. Uploaded CSV files are analyzed in the browser; only detected exception records are submitted to the BayProof ledger. Do not include payment-card data, Social Security numbers, medical information or other unnecessary sensitive information in exports.

Privacy and access

Workspace records are associated with the signed-in account and separated by shop identifier. BayProof uses submitted contact information to provide the pilot, support and paid service. Hosting, authentication and payment providers may process data only as needed to operate those functions. BayProof does not sell shop data.

Data requests

The shop may request access to or deletion of its account data by contacting BayProof. Records may be retained when reasonably required for security, billing, dispute resolution or legal compliance.

Availability

Reasonable efforts are made to keep BayProof available and accurate, but uninterrupted or error-free service cannot be guaranteed. Features may be updated to improve reliability, security or audit quality.
